Rechytsa Pedagogical College Students Learn About National Unity Day

On September 14, 2026, as part of the «Archives to Schools» initiative and events marking National Unity Day (September 17), staff from the Rechytsa State Archive conducted a lesson on patriotism. Students were presented with 17 facts regarding the reunification of the Belarusian people in the autumn of 1939 and challenged to distinguish between those that were historically accurate and those that were not. The young audience also viewed the documentary «Reunification»—produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents—which depicts the incorporation of Western Belarus into the BSSR.
