On the participation of employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation in events dedicated to Knowledge Day
Knowledge Day has long been not only a joyful holiday for all Belarusians, but also a special, memorable day. Traditionally, this day is used to reminisce about school and college years, as well as to support and inspire those who are sitting at a desk for the first time or returning to the wonderful world of knowledge after summer break.
The employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation (hereinafter referred to as the State Archive) were no exception.
On September 1, 2026, Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich, Acting Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation; Maxim Viktorovich Tozik, Head of the Department of Records Management and Formation of the National Archival Fund; and Vyacheslav Vitalyevich Rabetsky, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the State Archives, paid a friendly visit to the Minsk Polytechnic College and the Minsk State College of Architecture and Construction.
G.S.Zholnerkevich delivered a welcoming address at the ceremonial assembly at the Minsk Polytechnic College. Grigory Stepanovich congratulated everyone present on Knowledge Day, wishing the students diligence, determination, and success in their studies, and the teachers patience, creative inspiration, and professional achievement.
Vyacheslav Vitalyevich also joined in the congratulations. In his speech on behalf of the trade union, he also congratulated the students on September 1st, focusing on the guarantees and support the trade union provides to young professionals during their professional development.
Following the ceremony, Grigory Stepanovich participated in a class entitled «Knowledge Today – Strength and Prosperity of Belarus Tomorrow!». As part of this event, Grigory Stepanovich conducted a career guidance session for students in the «Documentation Support for Management» department, during which issues of targeted training for young people were discussed.
M.V.Tozik addressed students of the Minsk State College of Architecture and Construction.
During the class entitled «Knowledge Today – Strength and Prosperity of Belarus Tomorrow!», Maxim Viktorovich drew the students’ attention to the extensive opportunities offered by the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation for acquiring knowledge in the field of architecture. In his speech, Maxim Viktorovich emphasized that familiarization with the collections of various design organizations, as well as renowned architects such as G.V.Zaborsky, S.B.Botkovsky, I.G.Langbard, V.A.Korol, and others, will not only enhance the knowledge gained during the course but also inspire students to further achievements in the field of design and construction, not only in Minsk but throughout Belarus.
At the end of his speech, Maxim Viktorovich showed the students a video, «Post-War Minsk», created by state archive staff using neural network technologies.
The final part of the event at both educational institutions was the presentation of commemorative gifts.
