On August 26, 2026, the Department of Archives and Records Management held a thematic seminar on «Pricing in Budgetary Organizations: Legal Regulation, Economic Justification, and Documentation». The speaker on this topic was systemic pricing expert S.P.Kovalchuk.

Participants in the seminar, which was held in person and via conference call for out-of-towners, included managers and accounting staff. It should be noted that this was the first time a specialized specialist had conducted a seminar for accountants specializing in archival activities. The Department plans to implement this training process in practice.

The event reviewed the legal framework for pricing in the public sector, including current decrees, laws, and regulations.

The procedure for approving prices and tariffs was discussed, and typical errors and ways to prevent them were analyzed.

S.P.Kovalchuk explained issues related to pricing in archival activities and provided recommendations for preparing for inspections by regulatory authorities.
