The rally-requiem «Burning Hearts: Memory in the Name of the Future», dedicated to the National Remembrance Day of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, was held at the «Kurgan Slavy» memorial complex in Mozyr
On June 22, 2026, employees of the Zonal State Archive in Mozyr took part in a requiem rally dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, which was held at the Kurgan Slavy memorial complex in Mozyr.
This day – the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War – reminds us of the shadow of peace, of the pain of loss that touched every family.
We remember those who fought on the front lines, who worked at machines and grew bread, who saved the wounded, who fought in the underground, whose names remained unknown, but whose contribution to the Victory is priceless.
Memory is not only grief, but also responsibility: before the past – to remember, before the future – to convey the truth about the war to children and grandchildren, so that the tragedy does not happen again.
