On June 19, 2026, the final event of the patriotic project «Women’s Feat: Names on the Map» was held in the Zonal State Archive in Polotsk. The project was implemented as part of the republican action «Archives – School», dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman and dedicated to the exploits of women during the Great Patriotic War.

The main goal of the project is to attract young people to the patriotic movement, preserve the memory of heroic pages of history and tell about women whose fates and exploits became an example of courage, steadfastness and love for the native land.

Six of them bear the names of women – Heroes of the Soviet Union: Tatyana Marinenko, Zinaida Tusnolobova-Marchenko, Liza Chaikina, Lyuba Shevtsova, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya and Zina Portnova. Another street is named in honor of Lilia Kostecka, a sub-Polish woman who was a liaison of the partisan brigade «The Elusive».
