On June 18, 2026, as part of the «Archives – School» campaign, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter – NARB) held a meeting with participants and teachers of the study on preparing students for intellectual competitions and competitions on the subjects «History of Belarus» and «World History» of the Minsk City Institute of Educational Development.
The deputy director of NARB, Yelena Aleksandrovna Stukanova, gave a welcoming speech to the guests.
The head of the department of funds of personal origin of NARB, Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, led a tour of the archive, told about its history, composition and features of document storage, the work of the archive in the field of publication and exhibition activities, as well as the possibility of using archive documents in writing competitive research papers.
As part of the events held by the archive for the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, a viewing of the documentary film «Belarus – Partisan Republic» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents was organized for students and teachers.
The leading archivist of the personal funds department of NARB, Tatyana Igorevna Bryleva, held a class on the history of the partisan movement. The guests also visited the archives of funds of partisan formations, where they got acquainted with the personal files of the command staff of partisan detachments and brigades, award certificates, photographs and other documents.
