Participation of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) in District Competitions of Civil Defense Sanitary Units

On June 12, 2026, a large-scale competition of sanitary brigades and sanitary units among organizations of the Central District was held near the Drozdy Reservoir. The sanitary unit of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) participated.

The main goal of the event was to improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of civilian medical units in providing first aid in emergency zones. The competition program consisted of five stages, including testing of standard equipment and its use, work in areas of combined, chemical, and infectious diseases, and a theoretical competition. The BSAMLI staff demonstrated excellent teamwork, high reaction speed, resilience, and team spirit throughout all the tests. Following a tough competition among numerous district teams, the BSAMLI sanitary unit took a respectable 9th place.
