On the «Women in Sports» sporting event held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On June 5, 2026, in anticipation of International Archives Day, celebrated on June 9, the «Women in Sports» sporting event was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region, following established tradition. The primary trade union organization, chaired by Svetlana Primakova, chaired the event.

During the «Year of the Belarusian Woman», the competition was planned to be exclusively for women, but the stronger half of the staff did not remain on the sidelines. Men also participated in the sporting event, each supporting their team.

The winners of the sporting competitions were awarded small prizes. The time flew by quickly and joyfully, and at times, even excitingly.

Sporting events foster team building, evoke strong emotions, and lift spirits.
