On the Conducting of the Final Archival Lesson as Part of the National «Archives for School» Campaign and the «Young Archivist» Pilot Project at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno

On May 21, 2026, as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno conducted the final archival lesson, «Echoes of Wartime: A Lesson in Memory of the History of the War of 1812 and the First World War», for 10th-grade students of V.D.Sokolovsky Secondary School No.28 in Grodno.The lesson took the form of a lecture with quest elements. At the end of the lesson, the students were awarded diplomas for their active participation in archival studies throughout the school year. In turn, the students presented the archival institution with a 3-D model of the Grodno Holy Sophia Cathedral, the result of a joint project with the archive.
