A screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» by staff of the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk was held at Secondary School No.12 in Slutsk

On May 19, 2026, staff of the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk held a lesson on «History in Documents» for fourth-grade students at Secondary School No.12 in Slutsk. The film featured a screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress», prepared for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

Before the screening, K.S.Anishchenko, an archivist with the Department of Document Use and Publication, spoke to the students about the first days of the Great Patriotic War and the heroic fortitude of the Soviet soldiers who defended the Brest Fortress.
