On a meeting of the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno with Yuri Maratovich Sirchenko, Chairman of the Lenin and Grodno branches of the OSVOD in Grodno

On May 19, 2026, a meeting was held between the staff of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno and Yuri Maratovich Sirchenko, Chairman of the Lenin and Grodno branches of the OSVOD in Grodno. The OSVOD Chairman discussed the rules of conduct on the water that must be observed to protect themselves and others, and introduced the basics of first aid for water casualties. The meeting covered the following topics: types of water accidents and their prevention, rules for using watercraft, first aid for drowning, hypothermia, heatstroke, and other injuries, and liability for violating rules of conduct on the water. Such meetings are extremely important. They remind us that water is an element that does not forgive mistakes. Knowing and following simple rules is the key to life and health safety.
