Collaboration for Heritage Preservation

The staff of the Minsk Region State Archives visited the Yanka Kupala State Literary Museum as part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions.

Maria Nikolaevna Bortkova, Head of the Museum’s Scientific, Exposition, and Exhibition Department, gave the archivists a detailed tour of the entire museum complex. Guests toured the exhibition halls and immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the era in which the national poet of Belarus lived and worked. The guide enthusiastically and thoroughly described Yanka Kupala’s life and the history of his major works.

Particular attention was paid to the new exhibition «Kupala House – 100». It is here that unique documents from the collections of the Minsk Region State Archives are displayed. These materials harmoniously complement the overall exhibition, making the space even more interesting and educational for visitors.

The visit was a shining example of the collaboration between the two institutions, and the parties outlined plans for further collaboration.
