On May 11 and 15, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project, workshops and seminars were held for students of the P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region

Along with documents stored at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region, students majoring in Romance and Germanic Philology examined and studied newspapers, magazines, brochures, posters, and announcements of the occupation authorities in German, all relating to the wartime period of our country. The future linguists not only read interesting facts from the presented documents but also demonstrated their skills in translating from a foreign language.

The documentary film «Bagration», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, was also shown during the event.
