On May 12, 2026, as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project, a lecture was held for students of P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University

The archive’s reading room is an important place where researchers gain access to information of interest, whether historical documents, archival materials, or manuscripts. The reading room’s users range from students, teachers, journalists, and professors. A first visit to an archive is a very exciting experience for everyone. A lecture was held for students majoring in «History Education» and included a demonstration of the video lesson «First Visit to the Archive or a Guide for the Beginning Researcher», prepared by the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region.
