On the participation of the State Archives of the Gomel Region in a ceremonial procession dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory

On May 9, 2026, the staff of the State Archives of the Gomel Region took part in a ceremonial procession dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The archivists marched along the festively decorated Sovetskaya Street in Gomel in a column of the Communist Party of Belarus. The column was led by Yuri Shestopalov, First Secretary of the Gomel City Organization of the Communist Party of Belarus and Director of the Archives.

The families and children of the archivists joined the celebratory procession.
