Staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region held a screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» at V.V.Yurtov Secondary School No.27 in Grodno

On May 4, 2026, staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region organized a screening of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» for students of V.V.Yurtov Secondary School No.27 in Grodno. The film was prepared for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.

Before the screening, Miroslava Traigel, archivist at the State Archives of the Grodno Region, told the students about the history of the defense of the Brest Fortress and the heroism of the Soviet soldiers who bore the brunt of the Nazi invasion.
