Exhibition by the State Archive of Public Associations (GAOOGr) «Chernobyl – Our Pain…»

April 26, 2026, marked the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident. Employees of the archive of public associations held a series of events commemorating this date. The exhibition «Chernobyl – Our Pain…» opened in the archive’s reading room, reflecting the history recorded in documents of party and Komsomol bodies of the Grodno region and in newspaper articles.

The archive held film lectures at educational institutions and organizations in Grodno to screen the documentary «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
