The National Historical Archives of Belarus has prepared and published a virtual exhibition dedicated to E.R.Romanov (1855–1922), a Belarusian ethnographer, folklorist, archaeologist, and publicist.

Yevdokim Romanovich Romanov collected and published over 8,000 folklore works and prepared 2,126 for publication. The bulk of this folklore collection was published between 1886 and 1912. He conducted archaeological excavations and surveys in the Mogilev, Vitebsk, and partially Grodno provinces. He compiled archaeological maps of these provinces and contributed to the development of archaeological excavation methods. He published the poem «Taras on Parnassus». The exhibition features documents from 1855 to 1909, including E.R.Romanov’s birth certificate, his correspondence on the organization of archaeological and ethnographic research, the scholar’s methodological developments, and other documents.
