Trade union activists of the National Historical Archives of Belarus participated in a training seminar

On April 25, 2026, representatives of the primary trade union organization of the National Historical Archives of Belarus participated in a training seminar for the trade union activists of the Minsk city organization.

The event, organized jointly with the International University MITSO, was held at the Belarusian State Institute of Metrology (BelGIM). Participants representing the NIA of Belarus included Elena Doroshenko, Chair of the Primary Trade Union Organization, and Natalya Kharyanova, Treasurer.

The highlight of the training was a presentation by Irina Kostevich, Chair of the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Issues of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. She provided a detailed analysis of the demographic situation in the country and its impact on the world of work and the social security system.

The speakers included experts from the FPB lecture group and specialists from the Minsk city organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions, who shared modern trade union work methods.

The knowledge gained will help the leaders of the NIA Belarus trade union to more effectively protect the socioeconomic interests of their team and improve the organization’s internal work.
