BGAMLI at a dialogue platform dedicated to Z.Byadulya’s 140th anniversary

On April 24, 2026, N.A.Mizon, leading archivist at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI), took part in the dialogue platform «Zmitrok Byadulya: a writer with a soul, a heart and a poet», dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the classic Belarusian writer Z.Byadulya. The dialogue platform was held at the Belarusian Khatka branch of the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature.

The archivist spoke to like-minded individuals working with the material and spiritual legacy of the famous writer, including museologists, literary scholars, journalists, teachers, and others, about the archival heritage related to the life and work of Z.Byadulya, housed at the BGAMLI. The possibility of new discoveries and the development of new themes when studying documents from the BGAML collections always attracts researchers. Examples of heuristic experience from her own work on the «Iago Riches of Film» exhibition, cited by N.A.Mizon during the dialogue, increased the desire of specialists, researchers, and popularizers to search for relevant information at the BGAML.
