As part of the «Volgograd-Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» project, a lesson on «Monuments of the Great Patriotic War in Volgograd and Vitebsk» was held at Vitebsk Gymnasium No.9

On April 14, 2026, an event was held at the State Educational Institution «Vitebsk Gymnasium No.9 named after A.P.Beloborodov» as part of the «Volgograd-Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» project.

This time, the lesson began in an unusual way: the students were asked to first name the most famous battles of the Great Patriotic War and then list the monuments in their honor.

Afterwards, the students had to solve a quest dedicated to the monuments of Vitebsk and Volgograd.

Then the students exchanged their work and, based on a presentation by Deputy Principal Tatyana Buevich and a video about the monuments of the two cities, assessed their classmates’ work.

As a result, three works received 8 points out of a possible 12.

The winners received gifts from the archive.
