A lecture on strengthening public safety and discipline was held at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On April 10, 2026, Sergei Nikolaevich Maltsev, Deputy Head of the Enforcement Department for Internal Security of the Main Justice Department of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, held a lecture for archivists at the State Archives of the Gomel Region on strengthening public and personal safety and discipline.

The lecture focused on ensuring and strengthening industrial discipline, as well as liability for negligent performance of official duties.

The lecture covered fire safety at work and at home, occupational injuries, traffic regulations, alcoholism prevention, and other important issues related to maintaining public order and the personal safety of citizens.

Specific examples were given of cases of negligence and irresponsibility at work that have led to criminal liability, injuries, and loss of ability to work.

Strict compliance with Directive No.1 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated March 11, 2004, «On Measures to Strengthen Public Security and Discipline», is essential for improving public health, strengthening law and order, and enhancing the power and authority of our country.
