Dmitry Ivanov, a student at the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian State Archives of the Academy of Sciences, presented his research paper on the results of collaboration with the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region within the framework of the «Archives for School» program
The 6th All-Russian Student Conference with International Participation, «Russia and Belarus: Milestones in a Common History», dedicated to the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War, was organized on March 30–31, 2026, by the Tikhoretsk Technical School of Railway Transport, a branch of the Rostov State Transport University (Tikhoretsk, Russian Federation).
The goal of the conference was to preserve the memory of the heroism of the multinational Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
A competition for creative and research projects was held as part of the conference.
Among the projects presented by the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian State Academy of Telecommunications (BSAT), Dmitry Ivanov, a first-year student, presented a work dedicated to students’ exploration of the cultural and historical space of Vitebsk during their history studies.
The work reflects the collaboration between the Vitebsk branch of the BSAT and the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region as part of the «Archives for School» campaign.
