The State Archives of the Vitebsk Region participated in the 6th All-Russian Student Conference with International Participation, «Russia and Belarus – Milestones in a Common History» (Tikhoretsk, Russian Federation)
The 6th All-Russian Student Conference with International Participation, «Russia and Belarus – Milestones in a Common History», was held at the Tikhoretsk Technical School of Railway Transport, a branch of the Rostov State Transport University.
The event was dedicated to the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War.
The conference is included in the list of Olympiads approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for the 2025/2026 academic year (Order No.639 dated August 31, 2025).
The conference was attended by over 200 people from:
– 28 constituent entities of the Russian Federation (including the republics of Khakassia, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, North Ossetia-Alania, Udmurtia, and Buryatia);
– 4 regions and the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus);
– The Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The conference was held in two stages: remotely and in person (using distance learning technologies). Over 100 participants presented papers.
Deputy Director Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich presented the paper «The Volgograd-Vitebsk Project: Memory of Generations» as a Form of Historical Memory Preservation at the plenary session».
