The Rechitsa Zonal State Archives held an event to commemorate the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia

On April 2, 2026, staff from the Rechitsa State Archives met with the staff of the Rechitsa Grain Factory. They briefed the workers on the conclusion of the Treaties on April 2, 1996 and 1997, establishing the Community and Union of Belarus and Russia, and showed them documents from the Rechitsa City Executive Committee, which contained information on the results of the first year of Belarusian-Russian integration for Belarus and, in particular, Rechitsa.

Furthermore, the archivists highlighted the role of the peoples of Belarus and Russia in the fight against fascism during the Great Patriotic War and presented the documentary film «History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
