On the Lecture «Formation of Term Papers and Theses» Held by the State Archives of the Gomel Region as Part of the National «Archives for School» Campaign

On March 23, 2026, Anastasia Artemyeva, an archivist in the Department of Records Management, National Archival Fund Formation, and Organizational Archives, delivered a lecture for first-year students of F.Skorina Gomel State University on the topic of «Formation of Term Papers and Theses»at the State Archives of the Gomel Region.

During the lecture, Anastasia Artemyeva explained the rules for preparing essays, term papers, and theses, as well as the requirements for their structure and formatting. In her presentation, Anastasia emphasized the importance of choosing a research topic. She emphasized that the topic should include a specific section that will serve as the object and subject of the research. This section defines the topic of the research paper. The lecture also covered the formatting of the text and headings, as well as the use of tables and illustrations. Anastasia explained and demonstrated, using examples, how to format references to referenced sources and how to format a bibliography of referenced sources.

The lecture was accompanied by a virtual exhibition on the formatting of term papers and theses, prepared by Anastasia Artemyeva.
