The first issue of the «Archives and Legal Affairs» journal for 2026 has been published

Publication of the «Archives and Legal Affairs» journal, which covers the activities of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, has been entrusted to the Editorial Board of the «Justice of Belarus» Journal, following a reorganization, effective January 5, 2026.

The first issue of the «Archives and Legal Affairs» journal for 2026 has been updated. To improve visual perception, the layout has been refined, the use of graphic elements has been expanded, and artificial intelligence has been incorporated, fully in line with modern graphic design trends.

The format has been expanded to a classic A4 size, which offers several advantages:

– the text is more readable thanks to a well-designed and clear layout;

– the comprehension of illustrative material is improved, as archival documents—a very important part of publications—are presented in higher resolution and larger size;

– Sample forms and documents are provided without visual distortion.

The publication covers events in the field of archival science and records management, including materials on archival science, archaeography, heraldry, and genealogy.

The journal «Archives and Records Management» contains practical advice from leading specialists of the Department of Archives and Records Management, the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Science, state archival institutions, faculty members of the Department of Source Studies of the History Faculty of the Belarusian State University, and others.

The journal is included in the national catalog of subscription publications and in the List of Scientific Publications of the Republic of Belarus for the Publication of Dissertation Research Results, approved by order of the Higher Attestation Commission.
