On the lesson held by the Zonal State Archives in Borisov as part of the republican campaign «Archives for Schools»

T.A.Shalaiko, Head of the Department of Document Use and Publication, explained what archives are, why they are needed, and what documents are stored at the Zonal State Archives in Borisov.

A selection of printed copies of documents from the state archive’s collection, «Letters from the Front», was presented to elementary school students at Borisov Secondary School No.11. These and other documents sparked genuine interest among the students. She also explained the archive’s main activities, presenting in an accessible manner the diverse work of one of the most enigmatic professions – archivists.
