A ceremonial meeting was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus to mark Constitution Day
On March 13, 2026, a staff meeting was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus to mark the national holiday – Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus (March 15).
Archive Director Mikhail Glushakov and Deputy Archive Director Natalia Buloichik addressed the staff. They emphasized that the Constitution is the guarantor of stability and the legal foundation for the development of the Belarusian state. They focused on the role of archivists in preserving historical truth, which serves as the spiritual foundation of society.
An important part of the event was the screening of a thematic documentary film prepared by colleagues from the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Audio Documents (BSAKFFD). The film featured unique newsreel footage illustrating the stages of the development of Belarusian statehood, the adoption of the Basic Law, and significant milestones in the history of sovereign Belarus. The visuals allowed the team to visually trace the path to the creation of an independent country, captured in archival footage.
