BGAMLI Documents in a New Book about Maxim Bogdanovich

On March 5, 2026, staff of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI) participated in the presentation of Irina Myshkovets’s book «Maksim Adamovich Bogdanovich», recently published by Yaroslav Mudry (Yaroslav, 2026). This book, written by a leading researcher at the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum, is the first and most comprehensive biography of the outstanding poet in Russian, supplemented by unique documents from the collections of the Maxim Bogdanovich Literary Museum, as well as other museums and archives in Belarus and abroad. Among the documents presented in the book are photographs held at the BGAMLI. Furthermore, the book contains a link to a specially produced documentary about Maxim Bogdanovich with Belarusian voiceover. A copy of the book, signed by publisher Andrey Smaragdov and the film’s author and director, Marina Smaragdova, was donated to the BDAMLI collection.
