Reporting and Election Meeting of the Primary Trade Union at BGAMLI

On February 26, 2026, a reporting and election meeting of the primary trade union organization was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI). Participants summarized the work of 2025 and outlined development vectors for the near future.

The main item on the agenda was the trade union committee’s report, presented by M.A.Filimontseva, Chair of the BGAMLI primary trade union organization. In 2025, the primary organization’s activities focused on protecting the socioeconomic interests of employees and organizing leisure and health promotion. The team unanimously approved the report on the implementation of the income and expense budget for the past year and agreed on the financial plan for 2026, which retains its social focus.

Particular attention was paid to analyzing the implementation of the Collective Agreement for 2025. It was noted that commitments to support employees, create safe working conditions, and pay wages are being fully met.

The meeting marked an important step in renewing the organization’s core staff. The following decisions were made during the vote:

– to amend the composition of the trade union committee and the audit commission;

– to elect a public occupational safety inspector who will oversee daily safety monitoring in the workplace.

The new composition of the elected bodies emphasized their commitment to continuing their active work to unite the team and strengthen the traditions of archival and museum work.
