On holding a thematic event for students of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School named after N.I.Shlyaga, Mozyr District», titled «There is such a profession – to defend the Motherland»

As part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», a thematic event, «There is such a profession – to defend the Motherland», was held on February 23, 2026, for students of the State Educational Institution «Skrygalovskaya Secondary School named after N.I.Shlyaga, Mozyr District». During the event, the students learned about the history of the Red Army (through a newspaper article from February 23, 1918, permanently archived in the archival institution) and the history of the holiday in general.

The students were also given the opportunity to view a video produced by the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus using artificial intelligence technology. The video was based on drawings dedicated to the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War, provided by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

Yu.M.Suponenko, an employee of the Information and Document Management Department, organized a quiz for the students of the educational institution, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
