Students from P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University visited the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region

On January 23, 2026, as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» project, the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region hosted a lecture for correspondence students from the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of P.M.Masherov Vitebsk State University on the topic «Preparing Archival Document Exhibitions as a Direction in the Archive’s Scientific, Cultural, and Educational Activities».

During the lecture, students learned about the classification of archival document exhibitions and the organization of virtual exhibitions, as well as exhibitions on stands and display cases. The theoretical material was supplemented by a screening of several exhibitions prepared by the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region and the film «History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Documentation Archive.
