The Vitebsk Region State Archives gave a lecture to the staff of the Vitebsk Regional State Archives and Transport Operator

On December 18-19, 2025, we all witnessed and, to varying degrees, participated, as citizens of our country, Belarus, in a significant event – the second session of the Seventh All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.

One of the development directions outlined by the President, «Tourism – a growth point for the economy», inevitably influences the tenth direction – «Strong regions are the top priority». And crucially, the focus is on promoting domestic tourism. In implementing this direction, one of the goals is to better educate the population about the history of their homeland and their region. Archives play a key role here.

To this end, Deputy Director Tatyana Vladimirovna Buevich, as part of the information and propaganda group of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk, delivered a lecture on the history of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk, where the enterprise is located, to the staff of the Vitebsk Regional Municipal Transport Unitary Enterprise «Transport Operator» as part of a unified information day.
