Anniversary Award Ceremony at the State Archives of the Gomel Region

On January 8, 2026, the staff of the State Archives of the Gomel Region, led by Director Yuri Vasilyevich Shestopalov and Chairperson of the Primary Trade Union Organization Svetlana Anatolyevna Primakova, solemnly congratulated archivist Valentina Anatolyevna Chekan on her 60th birthday.

Valentina Anatolyevna has been working as an archivist in the regional archives laboratory for 25 years. Thanks to her skill and high professionalism in document restoration and repair, valuable archival documents—our country’s historical heritage—are preserved. Thousands of archival files have passed through her hands, having been repaired and preserved for future generations. The Director of the Archives presented Valentina Anatolyevna with a well-deserved Certificate of Honor for her conscientious work and contribution to archival affairs.
