On December 16, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Belarusian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science was held

At the meeting of the Academic Council, held in the V.I.Picheta Auditorium of the Faculty of History at BSU, final and interim reports on the completion of research projects for 2025 were reviewed. The reports were presented by the heads and responsible investigators of the following research projects: I.V.Lyutarevich, S.E.Kupriyanov, Z.V.Antonovich, E.P.Dernovich, V.A.Barbarchuk, E.V.Shumskaya, A.A. Sashko, V.S.Pozdnyakov, V.D.Rusetskaya, and N.A.Kosyak.

The results of the research on all planned research topics were positively assessed. Following the discussion of the research issues, recommendations were developed for their further development and optimal commercialization methods.

A.V.Kochetkova, Deputy Head of the Department of Records Management, Formation, and Preservation of the National Archival Collection of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus; E.A.Stukanova, Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus; A.A.Paplevka, Deputy Director of the Belarusian Center for the Digitalization of Archival Activities; S.N.Khodin, Head of the Department of Source Studies at BSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor; and M.F.Shumeiko, Professor of the Department of Source Studies at BSU, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, took an active part in the work of the Academic Council, offering helpful advice and comments on the research projects prepared.

Following the meeting of the Academic Council, members of the Academic Council and invited guests were treated to a tour of the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University.
