Archivists from the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held a film lecture «The History of the Great Victory», for students in grades 4-6 of the State Educational Institution «Gymnasium No.3 in Molodechno». Before the documentary film, Olga Berezovskaya gave a brief historical overview of the events depicted in unique newsreel footage and introduced the students to the archives’ work to preserve historical memory. After the film, the students had the opportunity to discuss what they had seen, ask questions, and express their impressions. Historical footage, vivid stories, and intergenerational dialogue are what make such events valuable and necessary.
