Little-Known Documents on the History of the Great Patriotic War from the Collections of the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin

The Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin, as part of its «Little-Known Documents on the History of the Great Patriotic War» series, presents digital copies of archival documents from the collection of the «Zhlobin District Council of Workers’ Deputies and its Executive Committee, Zhlobin, Gomel Region»: Resolution No.138 of the Zhlobin District Executive Committee dated June 2, 1969, «On the Review of Materials to Clarify Crimes Committed by Nazi Occupiers in the Zhlobin District».

This document contains information on the scale of destruction and population losses, as well as on settlements destroyed by Nazi invaders in the Zhlobin District during the Great Patriotic War. These materials are intended to perpetuate the memory of the tragedies experienced by the local population during the war and are part of post-war efforts to preserve historical memory.
