Archival Internship for Students of the Mogilev State Sanatorium-Boarding School for Children with Scoliosis

The State Archives of the Mogilev Region hosted an engaging event for students in grades 6-9 of the Mogilev State Sanatorium-Boarding School for Children with Scoliosis on December 1st and 4th. It was part of the national «Archives for School» campaign. The archive tour was a true delight for the young guests, who learned with great interest about the daily work of archivists and the specifics of document storage and use.

The tour emphasized practical skills, and the students were allowed to try out certain archival tasks themselves, allowing them to better understand the importance of archival work. This activity sparked great interest among the students, and many eagerly tried their hand at being archivists. At the end of the tour, the children were shown the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory», prepared by the staff of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, in the archive’s assembly hall.
