On a tour of the State Archives of the Brest Region for students from School No.14 in Brest

On November 28, 2025, 8th-grade students from Brest Secondary School No.14 named after E.M.Fomin visited the State Archives of the Brest Region for a tour.

As part of the event, a rich program was organized for the students, including:

– a general tour of the archive,
– an interactive word search activity on archival terminology,
– a thematic quiz on the history of Brest,
– a screening of the film «On the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Brest from the Nazi Invaders», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.

Particular attention was paid to one of the most tragic chapters in the history of Belarus – the Great Patriotic War. During the lecture, archivists spoke about the importance of preserving documentary memory.
