An event held as part of the «Archives for School» campaign at the State Educational Institution «Begoml Secondary School of the Dokshitsy District named after S.S.Mankovich»

On November 18, 2025, M.V.Garelik, Deputy Head of the Document and Information Management Department, and A.V.Kucher, archivist, held an event for 9th-10th-grade students at the Begoml Secondary School of the Dokshitsy District named after S.S.Mankovich. The children enjoyed a presentation on the history and main areas of work of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive. They were able to view photographs from the A.M.Bogomolov collection in an album and see examples of film, photo, and sound recording media.

Archivist A.V.Kucher told the students about the extensive work being carried out in the archive as part of the «Open Film Archive» project. At the end of the lesson, the students were shown a fragment of the film «History of the Great Victory».
