On the second archival lesson at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project

On October 24, 2025, as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, the second archival lesson, «Silence in the Reading Room», was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for students of the 10th «A» class of the «Young Prosecutor» legal major at V.D. Sokolovsky Secondary School No.28 in Grodno.During the lesson, students learned about the rules for working with archival documents in the reading room, defined archival document research tactics using a guidebook, and also tried their hand at viewing archival documents using a microfilm machine. At the end of the lesson, a film about the archive’s reading room was shown to visitors.
