Students from the History Department of the M. Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical Univ. completed an internship at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

From October 6 to 17, 2025, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter NARB) hosted an internship for two groups of second-year students from the History Department of the M. Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical Univ. The goal of the internship was to familiarize them with the archive’s operations.

On the first day of the internship, NARB Deputy Director E. A. Stukanova addressed the students, outlined the main aspects of the work organization, and introduced them to their internship supervisors. The students also received instruction on occupational health and fire safety.

O. Yu. Yurkevich, Head of the Information Retrieval Systems Department at NARB, gave the students a tour of the archive. Over the following days, the students worked in various departments of the archive, learning the individual functions of its divisions and becoming more familiar with the institution’s operations.

We hope that the experience gained during the internship will assist the students in preparing their term papers and theses.
