Meeting of the staff of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons

October 1, 2025, marks the International Day of Older Persons, the purpose of which is to draw global attention to the problems and needs of older people.

Acting Director of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich, congratulated the senior staff on the holiday, noting in his speech that the International Day of Older Persons provides an excellent opportunity to express deep respect and warm words of gratitude to all older people for their conscientious work, extensive life experience, kindness, and wisdom.

Protecting the rights and legitimate interests of senior citizens, maintaining their social status, and ensuring active longevity are essential components of the state social policy of the Republic of Belarus.
