Meeting with Archival Veterans at the State Archives of the Mogilev Region

On International Day of the Elderly, the State Archives of the Mogilev Region held a special event – a meeting with archival veterans and former employees. The guests were greeted warmly and cordially. For many, the archive has become their life’s work: they have dedicated decades to archival work.

During the meeting, the guests learned about the working conditions of the current generation of archivists, as well as the processes of document storage and digitization.

The archival staff noted that the work of these individuals cannot be overstated. They have dedicated their lives to the archives and made a significant contribution to its development. They wished them good health and well-being.

Over a cup of tea, the veterans and former archival employees shared stories and memories of their former workdays, and discussed the archive’s current life.

The atmosphere of the meeting was filled with warmth, gratitude, sincere respect, and wishes for the team’s creative success in their work. A commemorative photo was taken at the end of the meeting.

Such events serve as a link between generations, helping to preserve memories, experiences, and traditions that form the foundation for the future.
