Tour of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) on International Day of Older Persons

On October 1, 2025, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Older Persons, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI) hosted a tour for a group of visitors from the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Sovietsky District of Minsk».

During the tour, representatives of the «silver age» learned about the history of the archives and museum, the challenges faced by the first archivists, and the current activities of the BSAMLI, including the institution’s main areas of work.

Guests were introduced to the literary and documentary exhibitions on display in the reading room. Lead archivist T.A. Anpilogova presented the literary and documentary exhibition «I Am Right in My Words», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Belarusian poet, prose writer, and translator Naum Kislik. Leading archivist N.A. Mizon spoke to visitors about the exhibition «Skin Role – Main», dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist of the USSR, theater and film actress Stefania Stanyuta.

During the tour, visitors had the unique opportunity to examine the documents on display in detail.

The tour left guests with positive emotions and impressions.
