On the Seminar on Records Management and Archival Management at the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok

On September 30, 2025, a seminar on records management and archival management was held for the heads of educational institutions in Novogrudok and the Novogrudok District. It was organized by the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok.

Leading archivist S.G.Vakhgolts introduced those present to the main regulatory legal acts governing records management and the organization of archival storage of documents, including electronic document management. She emphasized the importance and necessity of developing local regulations that take into account the specific document management features of a specific institution, the timeliness of approvals, and the maintenance of up-to-date file lists.

The key provisions of the Instructions on Office Work in Government Agencies and Other Organizations, approved by Resolution No.65 of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus dated August 29, 2025, were also reviewed, covering the preparation and compilation of certain types of documents, as well as the maintenance of an organization’s archive.
