Documentary exhibition «United Belarus. Towards the history of the holiday»

On September 12, 2025, the exhibition «United Belarus. Towards the history of the holiday» opened in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the Day of National Unity. This is a joint project of the National Library of Belarus and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

The exposition is dedicated to the historical fate of the Belarusian nation, its path to national and state self-determination and a key event in the history of our country – the unification of Western Belarus and the BSSR in 1939.

The exhibition presents rare maps and book publications, archival documents of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and photographs provided by BelTA. As well as memoirs of contemporaries of the historical events of 1939, works of art and publications of leading Belarusian historians.
