The first lesson of the «Young Archivist» for students of the Peresvyatovskaya Basic School of the Rechitsa District

On September 11, 2025, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project, the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa held the first lesson at the Peresvyatovskaya Basic School of the Rechitsa District.

In order to introduce the history of the archive and the work of archivists, the employees talked about their archive, about the educational institutions in which archivists study. The children were shown a video about the work of the archive’s reading room and were given booklets with information about admission to the history department of the Belarusian State University.

Also, on the eve of National Unity Day (September 17), a screening of the documentary film «Reunification» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents took place.
