The State Archives in Glubokoe held a dialogue platform «Viktor Lomako – a forester who created a green masterpiece»

On August 29, 2025, the Zonal State Archives in Glubokoe together with the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Glubokoe District Executive Committee held a dialogue platform «Viktor Lomako – a forester who created a green masterpiece» dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of V.A.Lomako, the creator of the Glubokoe Dendrological Garden, Honorary Citizen of Glubokoe. Representatives of the working youth of Glubokoe took part in the event.

The head of the Department of Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archives Tatyana Avlasova presented documents from the personal collection of V.A. Lomako to those present, and told about how the dendrological garden was laid out.

The guest of honor of the dialogue platform was a resident of the city of Glubokoe, Larisa Dmitrievna Nedbaylo, who personally knew the famous forester.

The event ended with a sightseeing tour of the archive.
